Izdevuma pirmajās lapās projekts A Greenhouse Could Be, sākts 2023., kura ietvaros dažādas sievietes – radošo, sociālu un zinātnes jomu pārstāves tiek aicinātas veidot performatīvas intervences palīgēkās un siltumnīcās. Kopā ar kuratores Debi Paul eseju Flow Weavings skatāmas fotogrāfijas no darbiem Entering Glandwr, 2023., Walking with Igor, 2024. un performatīva notikuma you could feel the tension leaving their body, 2024. Mākslas pētnieces Janas Kukaine rakstā “Sievietes, augi un monstri” redzams Evas Vēveres portrets no video darba Herbal Monster, 2022. (līdzautors Valdis Jansons). Šī atvēruma kreisajā pusē ir zīmējums On work_Elke, 2024., kas veltīts Latvijas Mākslas akadēmijā šovasar notikušajam starptautiskajam simpozijam “Pazaudētais un atrastais: statusa mākslas pārskatot, iespējamās izmaiņas meklējot”.

EN:
On the magazine cover and in the interviews, you will find drawings from the series Conversations like structures, like systems, like miracles, created during a residency at Cow House Studios in Ireland in the spring of 2024. The opening pages of the issue feature the project A Greenhouse Could Be, initiated in 2023, which invites various women — from the creative, social, and scientific fields — to stage performative interventions in auxiliary buildings and greenhouses. Alongside an essay Flow Weavings by curator Debi Paul, photographs are presented from the works Entering Glandwr (2023), Walking with Igor (2024), and the performative event you could feel the tension leaving their body (2024). Art researcher Jana Kukaine’s article “Women, Plants, and Monsters” features a portrait of Eva Vēvere from the video work Herbal Monster (2022, co-authored with Valdis Jansons). On the left side of this spread is the drawing On work_Elke (2024), dedicated to the international symposium “The Lost and the Found: Reassessing the Status of Art, Exploring Possible Changes,” held at the Art Academy of Latvia this summer.
