This is the first edition of Māris Ločmelis's wet plate series "Seeing Time," featuring more than 50 portraits, which represent only a part of the photographs captured so far. The author has been working on this series since 2016. As the author himself puts it:
"Sometimes I feel like a switchman who flips the time switch and allows a person to perceive the essential, which remains invisible to the eye. To be at one with oneself, with one's thoughts, breath, and silence, and to experience that moment where words end and the heart begins to speak."
