Terms and Conditions (Distance Contract)
The legislation of the Republic of Latvia determines that the owner of the online store must provide the terms of delivery and return of goods, as well as the right of withdrawal. Such an agreement is called a Distance Contract.
Distance Contract
The seller of the goods offered in this online store, hereinafter referred to as the Seller, on the one hand, and the person placing the order, hereinafter referred to as the Buyer, on the other hand, conclude the following Agreement:
The Seller undertakes to sell and deliver goods to the Buyer in accordance with the Buyer's order.
1. Delivery and Payment Arrangements
The Buyer orders goods through this website, indicating the type and quantity of goods to be ordered. The Buyer has the option to pay for the product using the payment tools built into the online service or by paying the corresponding invoice prepared by the Seller and sent to the Buyer by e-mail. The invoice is prepared electronically and is valid without a signature.
The Seller ensures the delivery of the goods within 20 days after receiving the payment for the goods, coordinating the delivery time with the Buyer.
2. Right of Withdrawal
The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract and reject the product within 14 calendar days from the moment of receipt of the Product. The Buyer can exercise this right by using the automated withdrawal/cancellation button available in their customer account or by sending a written notice of withdrawal to the Seller.
The Buyer is obliged to return the product to the Seller within 7 days after submitting the cancellation request or sending the notice of withdrawal. All expenses incurred in connection with shipping the goods back to the Seller shall be borne by the Buyer.
The Buyer cannot exercise the right of withdrawal if:
- The ordered goods cannot be returned due to their nature, are perishable, or can be used up quickly;
- The ordered goods are custom-made directly for the Buyer according to an individual order;
- The Buyer has opened the packaging of a book or any other sealed product.
In accordance with Section 12, Paragraph Six of the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia, "the consumer is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the product during the period of exercising the right of withdrawal." The Seller reserves the right to refuse the Buyer's right of withdrawal or to withhold a compensation fee if the product is damaged, has been treated carelessly during use, if instructions have not been followed, if the original packaging is lost, or if its packaging is significantly damaged.
Consumer rights and the legal procedure for distance contracts are governed by the Regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia No. 255 "Regulations on Distance Contracts": https://likumi.lv/doc.php?id=266462
