The portraits included in the photo album of Gunārs Janaitis have been created in the period from the 1960s till nowadays. Janaitis has supplemented the images with his reminiscences and contemplations about the portrayed artists, writers, composers et al. The author of the album’s design is Juris Petraškevics.

231 portraits of 128 personalities are included in the photo album. The majority of them date back to the time when Gunārs Janaitis worked at the newspaper Literatūra un Māksla. The album is introduced by Laima Slava’s conversation with Gunārs Janaitis.
