This collection of 29 silver gelatin dry-plate photographs delves into the human relationship with the landscape, ranging from natural scenery to urban and industrial environments.

The handmade silver gelatin dry glass plate technique, with some plates intentionally left unwashed to create contamination within the emulsion, adds an extra layer of complexity to the images, emphasizing the human impact on the environment.

Though the subjects vary, all of them are united by the horizon line, symbolizing the unity and interconnectedness of the landscape, regardless of our subjective experiences.

NoRoutine Books is a publishing platform founded in 2014 by artists Vilma Samulionytė and Gytis Skudžinskas, based on the principle of "artists for artists." Publications are printed on modern, high-quality printing presses, and all post-press work is done in the artists' workshops. The number of publications is always strictly limited to 99 copies.
